If Deteronomy means the second Nomy of the Bible, which was the Prima- (first ) Nomy - maybe Exodus? What if we were to find a Bible with the books listed as Genesis, Primanomy, Leviticus, Numbers, Deteronomy … should we read it or reject it? Is the Primanomy perhaps lost? And what exactly is a lost booik? If we know of them and have copies of them, how can they be 'lost'? So, if they are not lost, how come they are not in the Bible?

According to Jewish tradition, Exodus 20:2-17 constitutes God's first recitation and inscription of the Ten Commandments on two tablets, which Moses presented to the Children of Israel. Deuteronomy 5:6-20 consists of God's re-telling or repetition of the Ten Commandments to the generation born during the Israelites wandering in the desert, and after the initial revelation at Sinai, prior to their entry into the land of Canaan.

In other words there is no such thing as a "Primanomy" or second law/nomos only a second "telling" of the law.
