You Can Prevent South Africa Becoming Africa's Number 1 Sex Tourism Destination!
Psalm 94:16, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
I had a chat with JP Smith, the much maligned mayoral committee member for Safety & Security in the City of Cape Town, who had the audacity to spearhead an initiative to enforce the law.
Smith informed me that the pro-prostitution lobby, headed by SWEAT, launched an orchestrated & malicious attack against him and the vice squad for daring to enforce the law & for targeting prostitutes and their clients including pimps, sex traffickers and organised crime figures.
Apparently, influential officials in government are exerting pressure to terminate the activities of the vice squad to, as he put it, “legalise the entire sex industry by default – by preventing & resisting all law enforcement initiatives against the rapidly expanding & illegal sex industry”.
To make matters worse, the liberal media have become the de-facto mouthpiece of SWEAT, repeatedly & exclusively reporting their false and deceptive arguments without question.
After several press releases and a letter to the editor were ignored by the Cape Argus, I was forced to telephone the news editor, Natasha Joseph & the letters page editor, Michael Morris, to vent my frustrations against their blatant liberal bias and obvious lack of journalistic integrity.
Alarmingly, what we have transpiring in our country today, is certain politicians and the media colluding to undermine the law, to essentially provide sex traffickers & criminal syndicates a free reign to generate huge profits off the misery & sexual exploitation of women & children in SA.
Edmund Burke’s declaration, “All that is necessary for evil to prosper is that good men do nothing” currently stands as a tragic indictment on the majority of good South African citizens.
The media reports that a homosexual brothel in De Waterkant in CT audaciously advertises “boys in chains & studs” to foreign clients, while brothels in Long St use the homeless as pimps to distribute cards to passers-by and tourists - brazenly advertising the illegal & sordid flesh trade.
Just around the corner, are the offices of the Western Cape provincial MEC for Police, Lennit Max – who is constitutionally required to uphold and enforce the law without fear or favour.
Essentially, what we have here is one solitary elected official - who is prepared to endure a torrent of abuse - to do what is right. One politician with the guts to enforce the law, clean up the city’s streets and erect a barrier against sex traffickers & crime syndicates luring women into slavery.
JP Smith deserves your help & support! There is a practical way the Church of Christ can help prevent women & children being lured into sexual slavery & assist women to exit prostitution.
We need Churches surrounding the prostitution hotspots to send volunteers to patrol these areas – take photos of the men who try to solicit prostitutes - and for teams to minister to the women.
The hotspots are; Sea Point, Green Point, Main Rd – Woodstock, Salt River, Claremont, Kenilworth, Wynberg & Wetton. Somerset West, Kuils River, Goodwood, Maitland, Koeberg & Milnerton.
JP Smith’s department at the City will provide security, training & clearly marked bibs indicating that volunteers are officially seconded by the City of Cape Town.
NB: WITHOUT THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE LAW, MANY MORE WOMEN & CHILDREN WILL BE LURED INTO PROSTITUTION FOR THE WORLD CUP BY CRIMINALS ALREADY OPERATING IN SOUTH AFRICA!
Smith said they arrested a young prostitute from PE, who requested help to exit prostitution. However, her Nigerian pimp held her toddler hostage as a way of trapping her in the sex trade.
Please don’t allow misguided human compassion to subvert the law. This is precisely what criminal syndicates are banking on, to provide them the freedom to advance their evil agenda.
Christian citizens have a God-given & practical opportunity to encourage law enforcement, protect vulnerable women & children from sexual exploitation & help women exit prostitution.
NOW IS THE TIME TO PRAY, TAKE ACTION & BE DO’ERS OF THE WORD & NOT HEARERS ONLY!
Cape Town can break the back of the sex industry by the pro-active involvement of “good citizens”, our successes will be replicated in other SA cities, significantly reducing this scourge on society.
Please organise volunteer groups in your Churches and contact me for further details. If Churches respond well, individual Church groups will only have to patrol their areas once a month.
I will be monitoring the work of the vice squad by personally joining them on operations in the city.
God bless you as you join the growing movement for Godly change in South Africa.
